  • The CS1 Euro pallet impresses with its aptitude for many different industries and applications. This reusable plastic pallet has been designed for universal use and can be equipped to work in a variety of areas. With its nearly competely closed top deck, the CS1 plastic pallet is ideal for handling bagged goods, cardboard boxes as well as packaged goods in both food and non-food areas. 

     

    Characteristics:

    • Available with 3 runners
    • Ideal for medium weight loads, such as bagged goods, cardboard boxes, or packaged goods
    • Equipped with corner lugs for anchoring shrink wrap film
    • Version with 22mm outer rim has interior dimensions of 1200 x 800mm for box and blister applications

    CS1 Pallet – Cheese Manufacturer (Roquefort Producer, 2022)

    The production of Roquefort, the traditional blue cheese with protected designation of origin (PDO) from southern France, is a delicate process. A manufacturer of this sheep's milk speciality needed a food-safe and robust plastic pallet specially designed for the extremely demanding transport of this cheese speciality during its various stages of production. The French cheesemaker turned to Craemer France Sarl, a sales company of the internationally operating Craemer Group. At its German headquarters, Craemer, a pioneer in injection moulding with decades of experience in plastics processing, customised its CS1 pallet model to meet the customer's special requirements. After delivering 15,000 load carriers made of pure-grade polyethylene (PE), the Roquefort cheese – with an average annual production of 10,000 tonnes –can be safely transported.

    CS1 Pallet – Logistics Company (France, 2019)

    The logistics company of the fifth largest French food retail group has said goodbye to the wooden pallet and is now building up its own inventory of plastic pallets. For the internal flow of goods between its 29 warehouses and the approximately 1,600 supermarkets in the chain, the freight forwarder has purchased 330,000 of the CS1 plastic pallets from Craemer. The first pallets were delivered in 2018, and the entire order volume is expected to be in use by summer 2020. The company switched from wood to plastic mainly in order to improve working conditions for warehouse employees as well as to meet the requirements of increasing automation and a policy of sustainability.
