The Craemer Group with headquarters in Germany is now presenting its latest product development: the large-volume CB3 High pallet box with a capacity of around 1,000 litres. The CB3 High was designed specifically to allow for even more efficient transport of particularly large quantities or bulky goods. The headquarters of the Craemer Group in Herzebrock-Clarholz is expanding on a property of around 17 hectares (42 acres) in the Aurea interregional industrial area located in the municipalities of Oelde, Rheda-Wiedenbrück and Herzebrock-Clarholz. The land purchase was recently sealed. On their new premises close to the motorway A2 and around nine kilometres from their headquarters, the long-established family-run company intends to set up a plastic injection moulding facility to expand their production and storage capacities. Construction work on the project with an investment sum in the double-digit million Euro range is scheduled to begin this year.

The logistics company of the fifth largest French food retail group has said goodbye to the wooden pallet and is now building up its own inventory of plastic pallets. For the internal flow of goods between its 29 warehouses and the approximately 1,600 supermarkets in the chain, the freight forwarder has purchased 330,000 of the CS1 plastic pallets from Craemer. The first pallets were delivered in 2018, and the entire order volume is expected to be in use by summer 2020. The company switched from wood to plastic mainly in order to improve working conditions for warehouse employees as well as to meet the requirements of increasing automation and a policy of sustainability.

The Craemer Group, specialist in plastics processing with head-quarters in Germany, has recently opened a corporation office in Palm Harbor, Florida. The new of-fice will bring the company into closer proximity to serve existing customers and to engage prospec-tive clients in order to provide them with Craemer plastic pallets and containers. 

The participation at the renowned Pollutec exhibition for the French waste management industry (Lyon, 27 – 30 November 2018) marks the starting point of an expansion of the Craemer Group’s sales activities in France: As of now, the plastic processing specialist’s subsidiary Craemer France Sarl is integrating Craemer wheelie bins into their product portfolio. The independent sales company located in Montrieul was founded in 2009 and has since been marketing the Craemer plastic pallets, storage and transport container program on the French market.

Following a successful market expansion, the Craemer Group is exhibiting some of its new innovative plastic products for the first time at the PacTec FoodTec GrafTec PlasTec show in Helsinki (stand 6c120). Many of Craemer’s customers are coming from the food-, packaging- or automotive industry. Craemer’s premiere and trade fair presentation will focus on the slogan: “Quality – the best Value.”

In recent weeks Craemer participated in some fishing exhibitions in Europe. We want to tell briefly about: The annual Seafood Processing exhibition in Brussels is firmly established in Craemer calendar. It has become one of the big, international fishing exhibitions worldwide. Visitors come from Australia, China, South America, Norway or Britain and other European countries. Since more than 10 years Craemer has a prominent stand and presents its wide product range of containers and plastic pallets for fishing industry, e.g. Euro Fish Boxes. The old fishing expo in Glasgow ceased and was replaced by new smaller Skipper Expos in different regions of Great Britain and Ireland.

The EURO H1 has proved itself in Europe a million times over. It has been the food industry standard and the leading load carrier in the meat industry since 1993. With the introduction of the new GS1 "Safety Tested" quality certification, sweeping changes are in store for the standardised, exchangeable EURO H1 pallet:

The festivities started beginning of March with a service in the Herzebrock parish church St. Christina on the 72nd anniversary of the company founder's death. The official festive reception followed suit on the 11th of May, ten days prior to the company’s founding date (21st May). 200 guests attended the anniversary year’s ceremonial highlight held at the company’s communal building: long-standing business partners from Germany and abroad as well as municipal and regional representatives from politics, the church, society and the business world.

The Craemer Group will be presenting itself as a partner for logistics solutions at the LogiMAT trade fair (Hall 1 / Stand Nr. 231). Exhibiting new products and services for intelligent load carrier management, this year's trade fair appearance will focus on the slogan: "Quality that pays off". The absolute highlight of the show will be Craemer's new D1.

Craemer is reacting to the demands made by trade and industry for the development of a load carrier which offers higher levels of sustainability, functionality and longevity than the ‘Dusseldorfer’ and, at the same time, enables universal usage across the entire supply chain, with an innovative half pallet concept. Produced under the name of ECOmax, Craemer presents the first plastic half pallet which stands for sustainability and added value in pallet logistics.
