Compliance

The Craemer Group is one of the world's leading specialists in the fields of metal forming, plastics processing and tool making. As an internationally operating family-owned business in the metal and plastics industry, we are aware of the potential impact of our actions beyond the boundaries of our business activities. To fulfil this responsibility, we take a holistic view of social and environmental issues in our business decisions.

As an independent, modern, family-owned business, we have been committed to corporate social responsibility beyond our day-to-day business since 1912. Continuity, stability of values, innovation, partnership, and cosmopolitanism are the principles that guide us. Compliance, the binding observance of rules and laws, plays an important role as a general guiding principle.

We have implemented internal controls, policies, and procedures to strengthen the integrity, transparency, and accountability of our Group, to minimise risks and avoid potential legal consequences. We expect all our employees and business partners to comply with these policies as well as with applicable national and international laws, regulations, and standards. Violations will not be tolerated and will result in sanctions being imposed on the respective individual.

Our guidelines

Code of Conduct

This guideline sets out our values and reflects our corporate policies. This Code of Conduct is binding for all our employees at all sites as well as for all our business partners, who must align their daily actions accordingly to ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.

Reporting channels

We have established reporting mechanisms to identify negative developments at an early stage. These enable individuals, groups or their representatives who have experienced or feel threatened by negative impacts to raise their concerns. Violations can thus be uncovered at an early stage or, at best, be prevented. All reports will be treated confidentially. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports possible violations of the law, this Code of Conduct or any other policies or procedures.

Examples of notifiable violations:

•           Illegal conduct

•           Corruption and money laundering offences

•           Agreements in violation to antitrust law

•           Violations of data protection regulations

•           Offences relating to theft, embezzlement, and enrichment

•           Insider trading

•           Violations relating to occupational safety, health, and environmental protection

•           Discrimination

Violations of laws and policies can have far-reaching and serious consequences for the entire company. A fair and reliable whistleblowing system is essential for effective compliance. We provide several channels for reporting possible compliance violations. Possible compliance violations can be reported via our external ombudsman, via our senior managers, our Works Council or directly to the Compliance department.
