The servo press from the Spanish manufacturer has a press force of 2,500 tonnes and a press bed measuring eight metres in length and 2.5 metres in width. A new coil feed line from Arku enables the processing of coil material up to two metres wide. The investment continues Craemer’s collaboration with Nidec Arisa, following the installation of an 800-tonne servo press at its Attendorn plant.
“Craemer’s decision to once again choose our team and technology is a strong sign of trust. We are delighted to support the company’s growth and the further development of its manufacturing operations,” says Diego Ariznavarreta, CEO of Nidec Arisa.
“With the new press, we are responding to increased production volumes at our Liptovský Mikuláš plant and expanding our capabilities in manufacturing complex formed components and processing high-strength steels,” explains Siegbert Geldner, Managing Director of the Craemer Group.
Designed for high off-centre loads
At its Slovak plant, Craemer manufactures complex seat structures for the automotive industry, among other products. The new servo press incorporates HELP technology (High Eccentric Load Press), which enables it to accommodate high off-centre loads. “The installation opens up new opportunities for forming components for industries beyond automotive,” adds Geldner.
