How do we collect your data?

Some data are collected when you share them with us. This could, for example, be data you enter on a contact form.

Other data are collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. These are primarily technical data such as the browser and operating system you are using or the time of access. These data are collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure the proper functioning of our website. Other data can be used to analyse how visitors use the site. Personal information is used to fulfil our legitimate interest of answering your enquiry according to Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR. Detailed information on the use of personal information can be found in the following data protection declaration.

Which rights do you have regarding your data?

You always have the right to request information about your stored data, its origin, its recipients, and the purpose of its collection without charge. You also have the right to request data to be corrected, blocked, or deleted. You can contact us at any time if you have further questions about the issue of privacy and data protection. Simply use the address given in the legal notice or contact our data protection officer. You may also file a complaint with the responsible regulatory authorities.

Detailed information can be found in the following data protection declaration.

2. General and mandatory information

Data protection

As operators of this website we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidential and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this protection declaration.

The use of this website is usually possible without sharing any personal information. Any collection of personal information (i.e. name, address or e-mail address) only occurs on a voluntary basis within our contact forms. Personal information is any information which you could be personally identified with. This data protection declaration explains what information we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

The use and disclosure of your personal information takes place solely within the information exchange between you and the CRAEMER Holding GmbH and/or the companies of the Craemer Group as well as their sales partners. In the case of contact queries (nationally or abroad), we reserve the right to forward your data directly to the business partner responsible in the region in question. You may withdraw our right to forward this data at any time. We would also like to use your data to inform you of products and services. Naturally, participation in such activities is voluntary. If you do not consent to this, then you can inform us in writing so that we can block your data accordingly.

A further exception is the disclosure of data to trusted service providers, which act on behalf of the CRAEMER Holding GmbH and/or companies of the Craemer Group. We have made a contract of data processing with each of these providers and implement the strict regulations of the German data protection authority.

We would also like to use your data to sporadically keep you up to date on product news or trade show participations. The participation is of course voluntarily and only takes place after you have given us your consent. You can of course also withdraw your consent at any time. Either an informal e-mail or clicking the “unsubscribe” button in our e-mailings is sufficient.

Job applications received online are forwarded internally to the personnel department for checking and processing. This means that the application data is stored and retained by us for potential use at a later stage until you ask us to delete your data, you withdraw your consent for data storage or the purpose of the data storage ceases to exist. Naturally, you can withdraw our right to store this data at any time.

SSL or TLS encryption

We take all necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the appropriate protection of your personal information.

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content, such as an enquiry you send to us via a contact form. You can recognise an encrypted connection through the change from „http://“ to “https://” in your browser address line and the lock icon that is being displayed in your browser address line. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transfer to us cannot be read by third parties.

However, if you are prompted to share personal information within a contact form we nevertheless point out that any data transmission through the internet can have security issues. A complete protection of data against access of third parties is not possible.

This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union or other contract states of the agreement on the European Economic Area prior to its transmitting it to the USA. Shortening means that the last octet is deleted to rule out a direct identification of a person.

Google will use this stored information to analyse the use of the website, to generate reports on website activity on behalf of the website operator and to provide the website operator with other services regarding website activity and internet usage. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

If you pass on personal information to us during a direct communication at a trade show (e.g by passing on your business card) we also reserve the right to store and use the personal information transmitted with this business card for the purpose of answering your enquiry and enabling the necessary technical administration. Legal basis for the processing of data is our legitimate interest of answering your request according to Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter f of GDPR. After the show, we will contact you with a so-called “Thank you E-Mail” to confirm your visit on our stand. In this e-mail we will also ask for your consent to use your personal data for the purpose of our e-mail marketing. If we do not receive your consent, we will not send you any unsolicited newslet
