Durable, easy to fill and empty, safe to handle, resistant to aggressive substances and completely weatherproof: large wheelie bins and disposal containers have to meet many requirements. The Craemer Group, which has been manufacturing plastic containers for the waste and disposal industry since the 1980s, offers a wide range of products available for both, municipal and industrial use.
The quality, durability and robustness of the pallets and containers used in load carrier pooling are particularly important. Due to the often strenuous daily handling and extremely high trip rates, they must be extremely resistant to breakage and impact in order to prove themselves in the long term. The Craemer Group, the world's leading manufacturer of durable logistics solutions, offers suitable polyethylene (PE) load carriers such as the CR pallet, which are highly reliable in use.
In many industries, the storage and transport of raw materials and products require the highest level of hygiene. Especially in (intra-)logistical processes in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetics industries, the use of load carriers that meet the strictest hygienic requirements and legal specifications is essential. The Craemer Group's food-safe plastic products make an important contribution to meet these challenges: They are easy to clean, extremely robust and durable. The EURO H1 plastic pallet is particularly suitable for the logistics and hygiene sector – it carries the GS1 stamp of approval for transparency in the supply chain and greater safety for users.
In the automotive industry, a smooth internal material flow is one of the essential factors for efficient production. The Craemer Group is one of the leading international automotive suppliers with its large-scale production of metal automotive modules and plastic load carriers. To ensure smooth (intra-)logistics in the industry, the plastics pioneer is launching a new development: Kubo, a robust four-way box made of high-quality polyethylene (PE) as an alternative to the metal grid box (gitterbox).
Large-volume plastic containers are indispensable aids in the internal and external logistics of the meat industry. Space- and cost-saving solutions such as the Economic Transport Box from the Craemer Group are particularly in demand. Thanks to the ingenious stacking system, these sturdy 300-litre stack-nest containers can be stacked easily and safely. And when the empty boxes are nested, they take up around 70 percent less space. A large Polish poultry processing company has been relying on the many benefits of the ET box for many years.
Like many other sectors, also the furniture industry needs safe logistics systems. A Polish company relies on the TC1 Palgrip® pallet with full-surface anti-slip deck: This completely closed plastic pallet proves its worth – even with high trip rates – and reliably protects sensitive furniture parts. The sturdily constructed, durable load carrier from the German Craemer Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of (intra-)logistics solutions, is made of high-quality polyethylene and will now be used to gradually replace wooden pallets.
Perfect reliability is essential in logistics, especially in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The Craemer Group, a pioneer in plastics processing, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of durable logistics solutions made from high-quality polyethylene (PE). With the completely closed TC pallets, Craemer offers versatile load carriers with a sturdy design, durable and resistant, making them ideal for logistics or intralogistics applications. Equipped with an optional full-surface Palgrip® anti-slip deck, their use ensures reliable load securing – even in extreme situations.
Craemer, specialist in metal forming, plastics processing and toolmaking with headquarters in Herzebrock-Clarholz, has set up a future-oriented plastics injection-moulding plant at the inter-municipal Aurea Industrial Park close to the A2 motorway. In the presence of around 200 guests from the worlds of politics, business and society, together with business partners and employees, the management inaugurated the new production facility on Friday, 10 February 2023. For the family-owned company, founded in 1912 and now in its fifth generation, this new site is a commitment to Germany, and in particular to North Rhine-Westphalia as a business location, as well as to sustainability.
Whether for juice or wine production: grapes must be harvested with care, since any impact will lead to bruising. The Craemer Group, a pioneer in plastics processing, offers food-safe and extremely sturdy collection containers that permit hygienic and careful harvesting of grapes. Particularly suitable: the CB3 High and SB3 plastic pallet boxes.
Statement of the management
The European Green Deal aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the European Union to zero by 2050 (net zero emissions). This has far-reaching consequences – also for the Craemer Group.
Accumulators and batteries containing lithium require highly sensitive handling. Strict laws limit the risks deriving from these potentially flammable components. For logistical processes surrounding production, storage, transport and disposal of accumulators and batteries, the plastics pioneer Craemer has designed robust pallet boxes made of high-quality polyethylene (PE). Perfect: the UN pallet boxes CB1 and CB3 for dangerous goods.
Construction work in cold, ice and snow – the winter months are a great challenge for the building and civil engineering sector. Advances in technology as well as the development of new materials and products mean that construction sites can now run smoothly almost without interruptions, even during the winter months. With more than 60 years of know-how in plastics processing, the Craemer Group is actively contributing to this trend – with its range of high-quality products made from injection moulding. For the construction sector, the family-owned company offers a robust range of pallets, boxes and containers made of pure polyethylene (PE). All products are easy to handle, load and fill, empty and clean.
Proving to be extremely robust – even at high trip rates: the CB3 pallet box, a combination of pallet and box made by Craemer. A large German-Polish meat processing company discovered this plastic pallet box by chance. It left such a good impression that the company immediately placed an order with the Craemer group's German headquarters via its representative office in Poland. Besides being durable, these resistant boxes have to meet the highest hygiene requirements of the kebab producer: They are used to transport animal by-products which are converted into animal feed. After successful test runs, the company is now gradually replacing its entire stock of containers from a competing company whose boxes were previously used and have proven inappropriate for this demanding task.
In addition to hygiene and safety, durability and economy also play a significant role in producing, filling and packaging of beverages. Craemer Group, a world leader in plastic logistics solutions, has developed a new generation of sturdy, hygienic, non-slip beverage pallets. Also interesting for the beverage industry: pallet boxes from Craemer.
Hygiene is a crucial factor in technical and logistical processes involving pharmaceutical and chemical products, food and cosmetics. Craemer, pioneer in plastics processing, has developed the new HB3, a pallet box entirely made of PE: hygienic, robust, ideal for this sector.
The production of Roquefort, the traditional blue cheese with protected designation of origin (PDO) from southern France, is a delicate process. A manufacturer of this sheep's milk speciality needed a food-safe and robust plastic pallet specially designed for the extremely demanding transport of this cheese speciality during its various stages of production. The French cheesemaker turned to Craemer France Sarl, a sales company of the internationally operating Craemer Group. At its German headquarters, Craemer, a pioneer in injection moulding with decades of experience in plastics processing, customised its CS1 pallet model to meet the customer's special requirements. After delivering 15,000 load carriers made of pure-grade polyethylene (PE), the Roquefort cheese – with an average annual production of 10,000 tonnes –can be safely transported.
A trouble-free internal material flow is one of the essential factors for efficient production of components for the automotive industry. Errors and faults in transport and storage systems result in time-consuming and costly interruptions. The Craemer Group, internationally established supplier to the automotive industry, is one of the leading manufacturers with large-scale production of automotive modules made of metal and large-volume load carriers made of plastic.
