Craemer showed solutions for pallet logistics at the Intercool
At Intercool, Craemer was demonstrating that the “right” solution for pallet logistics can in fact be very different depending on the process chain involved and the type of application. Because of this, individual solutions are required. In accordance with practical needs, the experienced pallet specialist therefore develops targeted concepts for returnable pallets in tune with precise market and customer based requirements. Craemer was presenting these options at Intercool.
Developed according to the specific EHI–guidelines, the EURO H1 hygiene pallet is the sector solution for open pooling. Sector-orientated, it gained early significance in the market across Europe. It quickly proceeded to become the standard in the meat industry and very quickly the EURO H1 became an indispensable part of logistics for the food industry in general. The entire logistic chain benefits from its reliability, blanket exchangeability and maximum economy. For more than 15 years, the EURO H1 has been the only returnable plastic palette with the red EHI symbol circulated in open pools.
The project-related solution for pure intra-logistics and for particularly demanding delivery applications is different: With Palcontrol, RFID technology is usable in a practical way to control pallets and as such is something which captures the interest of the user. EPC Gen2 UHF transponders are integrated into each pallet. Among other things, they provide the advantage of seamless information on the flow of goods or the rationalisation of transport sequences. The pallets used with Palcontrol are returnable pallet solutions par excellence and form the ideal condition for the application of RFID technology. As they are steel reinforced they hold up to 1,250kg on the shelf and are ideal for frozen logistics applications.
The Palpool service range for closed circuit pallet logistics is new on the market:
With the aid of the handheld device, Internet portal and RFID-tagged plastic pallet components, the Palpool system demonstrates that it is able to offer an accounting method which is both transparent and complete.
The key aspect of the system revolves around the pooling of high-grade, personalised plastic pallets. The user merely rents loading equipment and a handheld device. Changes to the stock level are visualized in real time via the Internet portal.
A new feature makes it possible to get a definitive payment balance for each pallet to the exact day. Each individual pallet is equipped with transponders and consequently is both clearly identifiable and traceable.
Palpool convinces: – not least through its unique transparency and operation which is child’s play. Large food manufacturers such as Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG and Sachsenmilch AG have already based their operations around Palpool.
At the Intercool trade fair, Craemer will be represented by the VDKL joint stand in hall 06, stand A 39-11.
