Craemer Sales Partner Meeting
From the 14-16th January, a meeting of the Craemer sales partners took place at the Marienfelder Hotel in Klosterpforte. The invitation was accepted by major trading partners from many European countries.
To launch the event on Wednesday evening, a welcome dinner was organised at the Marienfelder Hotel in Klosterpforte at which all of the Craemer Group directors were present, as well as the Craemer contacts from the export department.
Thursday started in the conference room of the historic hotel with a presentation of the latest Craemer developments, the D and TC families of pallets which will be shortly introduced into the target markets. In the afternoon, this was followed by a visit to the Craemer factory in Herzebrock and a walk through all manufacturing areas. In connection with this, new machines were introduced, production possibilities discussed and quality assurance tests were demonstrated. Currently under construction, the new hall for expanding the tool construction facility also drew attention.
The evening concluded with a cooking party at the Klosterpforte Hotel’s cooking academy. Many delicious dishes were conjured up on the stove, under the guidance of two chefs. Indeed, this was a unique opportunity to be impressed by the wide-ranging European culinary skills of the participants. Suitable wines complemented the compositions. At the same time, there was a lot of opportunity for discussion and exchanging views at an individual level.
On Friday, to start with, new production opportunities were introduced, in order to respond more effectively to customer needs which differ from series production. In addition, examples of individual projects from different European markets were presented to all of the sales partners.
After this, a demonstration of the possibilities and perspectives offered by RFID technology grabbed the full attention of the participants. General attention was paid to functioning and usefulness of the Craemer components which are coordinated with each other and used as a system for controlling a pallet or container pool: the handheld device, the transponder and the portal.
Before it was time to bid farewell to the informative and interesting days together, with the Craemer sales partners travelling back to their home countries, the get-together drew to a close with a lunch attended by all the participants.
